An online function that enables event planners to experiment with mobile bar configurations to design their own pop up bar has been launched. The customisation tool is said to be the first of its kind in the UK.
Introduced by Ace Bar Events, the digital bar configurator went live on the company’s website this month (April). The customisation tool is the first in the UK and enables visitors to experiment with different panels, facias and bar tops to create hundreds of looks and finishes. says the company.
Ace Bar Events design and supply a range of pop-up bars for corporate and private events across the UK and Europe. They work with event planners, charities, businesses and individuals to help create events. Their standard mobile bar designs range from 2 metre straight bars to 6 metre bars with returns – or anything that the client requests.
Managing Director of Ace Bar Events Andy Collinson explains the reason behind developing the tool: “People often come to us with an idea of the theme that they want but they can’t always visualise what that will look like. The Ace Bar Configurator (ABC) enables them to try out a variety of styles, colours and themes to create the perfect mobile bar for their event. It can also help people to inspire people if they aren’t sure of the look they are after.
“The advantage of having a mobile bar enables event planners to be more flexible and adventurous in their choice of location as well as bar design,” he adds. “The bar is a key component of any successful event – it’s often the focal point of the whole design so it’s important to get it right. Using the configurator enables organisers to get exactly what they want. We can also use the tool to create new designs if the organiser wants something completely unique to them.”
The configurator includes 36 different back panels from superheroes to ballroom dancing as well as 24 styles/colours of fascia’s to create hundreds of different combinations.
Ace Bar Events has been providing bespoke mobile bar and cocktail design services to the events industry for ten years. All their mobile bars are self-contained stainless steel units that come in two metre sections and are built on site. Each bar contains an insulated ice well, speed rail, sink and tap so the bartender to create professional drinks, just as they would in any permanent bar.
