Gleddoch, the prestigious hotel, golf and spa resort near Glasgow, has recently unveiled a major transformation to its events spaces and accommodation following a multi-million pound refurbishment.
A well-known establishment for many years, Gleddoch has brought its traditional style and classic facilities into the 21st Century. A popular venue for luxury corporate getaways, teambuilding days, conferences and gala dinners, Gleddoch has a range of high-spec events spaces for up to 150 delegates.
The Garden Room, Kilpatrick Suite and Boardroom offer flexibility for groups of many sizes, and a variety of smaller spaces allow for dynamic breakout activities. Gleddoch’s 75 ensuite bedrooms mean there is capacity for overnight events, and its sprawling lawns set in 360 acres of beautiful countryside, renowned 18-hole golf course, and luxurious spa complete with 17-metre swimming pool, allow for plenty of additional activities during downtime.
Gleddoch’s proximity to Glasgow and the airport makes it an ideal venue for functions, conferences and corporate events, while the expert events team can assist in tailoring the experience to suit a variety of needs and budgets.
Speaking on Gleddoch’s refurbishment, Director Richard Johal, said: “Gleddoch has been an old favourite for decades, attracting thousands of guests and hosting countless events over the years, so it holds fond memories for many people. With its countryside setting and its amazing views over the River Clyde and the Renfrewshire hills, Gleddoch feels like a country retreat, yet it’s only 20 minutes’ drive from Glasgow.
“We saw a great opportunity to breathe new life into the hotel and golf course. Former guests will recognise the hotel they loved, but it’s been brought up to scratch and now has all of the amenities expected of a top four-star establishment. We are looking forward to hosting many more conferences and events as Gleddoch begins this new phase of life.”
