Eat to the Beat (ETTB) is proving something of a hit with chart stars of the eighties thanks to its catering of the three-day Rewind Festivals in Perth, Scotland and Cheshire, with a third event still to come in Henley-on-Thames.
Rewind Festivals feature some of the biggest names from the heyday of pop music including The Human League, Nik Kershaw, Belinda Carlisle, Gloria Gaynor and Kim Wilde. Rewind South is set to entertain music lovers this weekend (Aug 18-20) when the Village People, Sonia and Level 42 take the stage, to name only a few of the big names taking part.
Behind the scenes ETTB, the artist, production and crew catering division of Global Infusion Group, has been working to meet the food and beverage requirements of around 370 crew from Thursday to Monday, plus the 270 artists performing on Saturdays and Sundays.
ETTB will deliver 3,800 meals across the series and enjoys a happy long-standing relationship with festival organiser, Impresario Festival.
Eat to the Beat’s Global Operations Director Mary Shelley Smith said: “We are delighted to be working at Rewind again, providing food for some musical heroes and the very hard-working crew which make this festival such a success.
“Our 10-strong team do a wonderful job planning and delivering a very tasty and varied menu for Rewind, using local suppliers wherever possible and adding to the celebratory atmosphere of this brilliantly fun festival series!”
